The Role
Enterprise customers expect accurate, consistent answers to their questions, even as the information behind those answers keeps changing. You'll help build a library of answers that delivers that, and you'll make sure the data behind it is sound and verified, and that its accuracy is proven with data.
You'll help gather the right data, audit it for completeness and format, and reconcile data from multiple sources. You'll run research and verification exercises with subject-matter experts, then measure, adjust and improve accuracy over time by expanding the body of knowledge. Developers and technical specialists build the library. You give them the statistical requirements they build to, and you report results to stakeholders in plain language.
If you've spent years making sure survey results hold up, this role applies the same rigor to customer answers.
What you'll do
- Audit and clean data from several sources, merge it into one reliable dataset, and flag where sources disagree.
- Run research with subject-matter experts: design questionnaires and coding frameworks, run them, and measure how well reviewers agree.
- Measure accuracy over time: set sample sizes, build test sets, report results with confidence intervals, and track how accuracy holds as information changes.
- Turn statistical methods and findings into clear requirements developers and technical specialists can build from.
- Present results and recommendations to stakeholders in plain language.
- Use statistical modelling to build a scientific method that identifies inputs accurately and finds the best possible matching output.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years in quantitative research or data analysis: market and survey research, digital analytics or academic social science.
- Deep command of statistical methods, from sampling and significance testing to regression, classification and clustering. You know how each works, when to use it and when it misleads.
- Strong questionnaire design, plus experience coding qualitative data and measuring agreement between coders.
- Daily use of AI tools, with the statistical judgment to check what they produce.
- Two registers: precise requirements for developers, plain language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Careful data handling: you clean, de-duplicate and reconcile data from several sources, and document every step.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
- Clear written and spoken English.

- Type: Temporary contract, month to month, with the option to extend
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours a week
